The sofa serves also as an extra bed. The villa has a lovely wood-heated sauna and a spacious, modern kitchen. Wi-fi is available.
In winter, the yard has its own sledding hill. You can go fishing in the nearby small lakes on foot or by bicycle. Berry and mushroom patches can be found immediately around the area. Psst! Chanterelles are just around the corner.... With the Päijänne lake nearby, you can easily go fishing and boating. You can find boat launching sites on the website of the city of Jämsä, for example.
Metsä-Loutikko is a cyclist's dream place. From the villa you can cycle 17 km on a gravel road via Hirvikartano on the Vaheri trail or 23 km via Sammallahti. You will see idyllic rural landscapes and you can stop by the shore of Päijänne to admire the lake scenery. You can also cycle to Jämsä and come back via Himos, making a total distance of 30 km. There are plenty of options!
In addition to local nature sites, you can also quickly drive to Isojärvi National Park, Vaarunvuori Nature Trail or Leivonmäki National Park.
